100 years ago this week in Dunfermline - the Opera House and the Court

In the Dunfermline Journal and Advertiser for West Fife 100 years ago this weekend (to be specific the  Saturday May 29 1915 issue):

Monday 31st May and during the week twice nightly (7&9)

Monday and Wednesday, Miss Ethel Lodge and London Company in Facing the Music, farcical comedy in three acts by James Henry Darnley.

Tuesday and Friday, Miss Ethel Lodge and London Company in the brilliant comedy, The Duke of Killiecrankie.

Thursday and Saturday, Miss Ethel Lodge and London Company in Jane, a farcical comedy in three acts by W Lestocq and Harry Nichols.

(Now we have the Alhambra back as a theatre, remarkably similar!)

City Police Court, Tuesday, before Baillie Kenny.

'Remembered nothing'.  James Callander, labourer of no fixed abode, was fined 7s 5d with the option of five days imprisoment, for having made a disturbance in Dunfermline Model Lodging House.  he said he had had drink and remembered nothing.

(Again, is this really that differnt to the court reports in the Dunfermline Press nowadays?)
